Nazaré is a coastal town that has one of Portugal's most beautiful traditions, where women can still be seen fishing in their seven-skirted outfits, taking care of the fish. The town is home to Praia do Norte, which is currently one of the world's best-known beaches for its giant waves, attracting professional surfers, especially for big wave surfing.
